I have been rebuked,
I am strong in pain,
Sacrificed myself,
And both my children
Naked I succumb to your womb
For I am stricken and endlessly punished.
Revel in your pain, skin for skin,
Die in my womb
Where the day will,
Give way to the darkness,
Return unto the world,
In true lifelessness, a stillborn
True self
O, Agony!
True self,
Through pain!
Take me deep into you.
Born into a lifeless husk,
Take me deep into you.
Born into a lifeless husk,

Surreal does not even properly convey the emotion and utmost perfection of this work. A combination of both polarizing beauty and harshness, Kardashev continues to embark on defining the boundaries of the melodic, progressive death scene. djc062001

As someone who went backwards through Kardashev’s discography, I was surprised to see how effortlessly they leverage brutality in those older releases. Alice M.

I saw these gents open the evening for DWeF in Trier some weeks ago. The vocalist seemed terribly shy between songs and then went full-on beastmode on the vocals again; him overcoming this was one of the most metal things I have ever seen. Vi Overlevde is, excuse this, bizarrely good. Not too posty, but still with a remarkable edge and a pretty unique feel to it. Maybe I'm still carried away by the live performance, but alas! This is great. Ensomhet is... beyond words. Kom til meg! David Fischer
